Mount Brenton Golf Course British Columbia
Mount Brenton Golf Course is a par-71 semi-private course in British Columbia, playing 5,816 yards from the BLACK tees with a rating of 68.4 and slope of 116. Designed by Les Furber (1948).
The Course
Across the holes we have mapped, the fairway measures a median 31 yards wide where a tee shot lands, and pinches to 16 at its narrowest. Seven of the 18 holes bend more than 18 yards off the straight line. The map carries 26 bunkers and 494 individual trees. Water crosses the line of play on the 12th and 18th.
Those trees are not scenery, they are a cost. Yards prices a ball hit into cover at what it really costs you, lost-ball odds included, then names the target that loses fewest strokes. Holes 1 and 2 are open to anyone, which here means a 489-yard par 5 and a 371-yard par 4.
