When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use the app, we store your handicap index, club bag configuration, and course purchase history.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide and personalize the Yards Golf Book service, including:

• Generating personalized yardage books and shot dispersion analysis
• Calculating your handicap-adjusted course strategy
• Processing purchases and managing your account

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

4. Map Data

Course mapping data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). Satellite imagery is provided by Google Maps.

5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

We use browser local storage and session storage to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — page views, session duration, and general traffic patterns. GA4 uses first-party cookies and does not track you across other websites. We do not use this data to identify individual users. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@yardsgolfbook.com.
