How to set up your game, study your course, and build a game plan for every hole.

Getting Started

  • Tell your caddie your game. Create a free account and enter your handicap + club distances on the Profile page
  • Pick your course. Search on the Courses page
  • Study your game plan. Click a course to open the hole-by-hole strategy
  • Langara Golf Course is free for everyone, try it first to see the full caddie experience

Scorecard Tab

  • Click a tee to select it, yardage and handicap update throughout the entire book

Hole-by-Hole Tab (Yardage Book)

This is the core of Yards Golf Book. Each hole gives you a complete strategy view with these tools:

  • 2D Hole Map. Shows the full hole layout with fairways, bunkers, water, trees, and greens
  • Satellite Toggle. Switch between the illustrated map and satellite imagery
  • SG Zones. Enable the strokes gained heat map to see where the best and worst misses are on every hole
  • 90% of Shots. Show the 90% confidence ellipse for your shot dispersion with each club
  • Shot Dispersion. Toggle individual shot dots on or off to see the full spread
  • Tee Shot Selection. Dispersion mode shows where your shots land with each club. Ideal Shot mode shows the single best target point. Top clubs are ranked by expected strokes, pick the one with the lowest number
  • Outcome Breakdown. See fairway %, rough, sand, water, trees, and OB percentages for each club
  • Key Distances. Front, center, and back of green distances. Carry distances to hazards. Layup distances
  • Green Map. Detailed green shape with front/back labels, bunker positions, and dimensions
  • Tee to Green Elevation. See the elevation change from tee to green
  • Hole Strategy. Personalized text strategy based on your handicap and the simulation results
  • Navigation. Use the hole selector or prev/next buttons to move between holes
